The Rest of August!!

We are just starting to get back in the groove of things around here!! Austyn started school a couple of weeks ago and loves it. He has 18 kids in his class, which I think is a lot for a private school, but thats just me! He has had 3 basketball games and is my little "superstar". That kid is good in everything!! He is my little athlete and he knows!! He also started skateboarding lessons and that kid has no fear. He is flipping this thing in the air and landing on it, he rides "low" on it which needs really good balance and eye cordination. Austyn and Cory have season tickets for ASU football so he went to his first football game of this season.

Haydyn just got over a double ear infection, UTI and cutting her 3rd molar all in one week. A week I don't want to do again soon!!! She is still on antibiotics but the poor thing has lost almost 5lbs and is still trying to get her appetite back and hold down milk without it all coming back up. I just HATE when my kids are sick, you feel so helpless for them and those ears can be soo painful. Otherwise, she is still our PRINCESS!!! We just love her and I love having my girl!! She is walking all over the place and even says "SHOES" and points at them first thing in the morning. She wants her shoes and a necklace on first thing in the morning with her PJ's still on. LIttle Miss Haydyn is definetly our DIVA!!

Cory is busy working, going to the gym and running, getting ready for another season of fantasy football with my dad, started up ASU football season, started up bible study and getting ready for our big fundraiser for KKSM (king of kings skateboard ministry). Needless to say the guy is busy. I thank GOD for such an amazing husband and such a strong spiritual leader of our home. He works so hard to provide for this family and the man NEVER COMPLAINS!!!
We have our first annual golf tournament on November 11th and we are getting donations for the raffle, getting people to play in it etc. Brian Summners with Tony Hawk just signed on with our ministy and left a million dollar deal to come with our professional skatboarders and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth. Brian will be giving his testimony at the golf tournament. Its such amazing to work with this ministry and see how GODS work has moved this minstry forward so far.
I am busy with just being a mom, wife and TAXI!!! I started my 5th semester of Bible study at Cornerstone and I am doing "Sheperding a Child's Heart" and I LOVE IT!! The first half of the study we listen to Pastor Jeff Royce and we are in the book of Hebrews and them we split off into our groups. I have ANOTHER amazing group of women and in my study and its so great to be with such strong believers in CHRIST and know that I am not the only one struggling with issues. I have met so many women at Cornerstone that have brought so much joy in my life and having those GODLY friendships is AMAZING!!

ASU Camp

Saturday we headed up North to go visit my grandma who lives in Christopher Creek. Cory had to work and so I went up with my mom and dad. My dad took Austyn and Timmy to go watch ASU practice and have a scrimmage which is about 5 minutes from my grandmas house. Austyn got to get some autographs from the players, he even got a player to sign his gloves and let Austyn keep them. They are very stinky gloves but Austyn insists on taking them everywhere we go!!! While my dad took them to do that my mom and I went on long walks and took Haydyn down to the creek and she LOVED it. The weather was so nice and it was great to get out of the heat for a day.

July and August

Well, we are getting settled into our new home and loving it!!! We spent most of July just getting moved in and unpacking and August has been busy also. Austyn started school and is loving it!! I can't believe he is already in pre-k, he is growing up so fast and it makes me sad!! He is so independent and I think that's why I struggle, because he doesn't need me anymore (at least that's what he acts like). He is so outgoing and just takes to anybody. He had a great summer spending a lot of time with his buddy Blake and his uncle "T", doing swimming lessons, and enjoying the pool!! He starts basketball tomorrow, skateboarding lessons next week and AWANA the following week so needless to say I have him BUSY!!

Miss Haydyn is walking all over the place now and is also my teething machine!! She has 11 teeth now and is back to not sleeping (story of my life)!! Haydyn started swimming lessons in June and is still going until the beginning of September. She loves it now and I can't seem to keep her out!! She is in and out of our pool at least 2 times a day and is so TAN!! I call her our little Coppertone baby! Even though she is not sleeping well she is such a happy baby all the time and brings such a wonderful spirit into our home. She keeps us laughing with her "Chinese" talk and we just act like we know what she is saying.

Cory and I are busy with the house and getting ready to do another fundraiser for KKSM (skateboarding ministry) through church. Life is good and we thank GOD for it everyday!! Here are some of our July/August pictures. ENJOY!!

EXpresso

Last night was the BIG night at church for me!! I did my testimony on the topic "Challenge". I was so nervous, I have never spoke in front of a large group of people before. I prepared myself all week for this and had amazing prayers going out for me and also praying for myself!! I went that morning to just go on stage and get a "feel" for what it would be like up there with all those lights on you and everyone looking at ME!! With all those lights I couldn't see anybody in that audience, so that helped me out a lot!! I got to church around 6 to get our microphones working and just seeing all these people walking through the door I am getting more and more nervous. Tanya, Bryanna, Lynn and I went to the back of the sanctuary and got on our knees and just prayed!! When it was my turn to talk I just gave it all to GOD and he did it for me!! I said EVERYTHING I wanted to say and felt that it went really "PERFECT"!! I know that was GOD doing all of that for me, he knew how nervous I was and he kept telling me to give it all to him and he will just take over and HE DID!! I loved listening to the other 2 women's challenges in life and how GOD has helped them overcome those challenges!! I am so glad I did it and when I got home I was so excited to tell my husband how it went I couldn't sleep!!
I just am so blessed to have Cornerstone, my incredible family, my husband and my personal relationship with CHRIST in my life. I realized doing life with GOD just on Sundays was not enough for our family and having him in our lives everyday has so blessed us!! I still have my "Challenges" but I know through GODS grace he will give me strength to overcome this overwhelmingness of our new home that we are soooo blessed to have!! LOVE YOU!!
