Rock and Worship Road Show

On Friday night we took Austyn to his first concert!!! They had 5 artist...Addison Road, HawkNelson, Tenth Avenue North, Jeremy Camp and Mercy ME. Austyn LOVED Hawk Nelson and Tenth Avenue North...it was so AWESOME to look down the row and see my little boy WORSHIPPING to an AMAZING GOD and he new most of the songs. We went with our friends from church and had a great time. It was only $10 bucks to get in per person, but it was open seating so trying to keep everyone together and get a descent seat was really hard, so everyone stayed together well, but we sat up in the nose bleed sections...It was GREAT!! I think we all where spoiled from the Chris Tomlin concert sitting 5 rows up!!! It was hard to get a lot of pictures with so many of us, but I got some !!! It was a great night and can't wait for the next concert!!!

Austyn's 1st Hospital visit!!

Austyn's hospital visit

Last night Austyn was playing out back on his swing set, being Indiana Jones. I was upstairs with Haydyn and Cory had just yelled to come down stairs because dinner was done. As, I am coming through the dining room into the kitchen I see Austyn falling down from the top of the monkey bars off his swing set. I yell his name and run ( I think I just jumped from my kitchen to my backyard) which that's what it felt like. As I approach him he is face down with his arms behind him and I am calling his name and getting NO RESPONSE!! Just about that time Cory is there and tells me to call 911!! That felt like forever also, trying to get through with my dead cell-phone first, than I decided that wasn't working so lets try and FIND the house phone!! Gotta love GODS timing!!! GFD shows up and Cory had him still on his back and he was out cold for about minute so when he woke up he was kicking and screaming like he didn't know where he was. They asked us where we wanted to take him they gave me 2 options...Desert or Phoenix Children's...Cory said Phoenix children's. I for some reason didn't plan on taking him at all in an ambulance I guess I didn't know what I was thinking at that time!!! The ambulance gets here and they take him with Cory , so I could figure out how I was going to get there with Haydyn and drive myself with as uptight as I was!! Thanks to my saving GRACE sister she came and drove me to the hospital while my neighbor took Haydyn until my mom could get her. We got to PCH and they said he was answering all the questions correctly and they wanted to do a CAT-SCAN just to be safe. HE did so well getting that procedure done and getting his IV in he didn't even shed ONE tear!! He is such my strong little boy!! They came back and told us his neck and head was just fine, and that he took a hit like Anquin Boldin from the Cardinals!!! He got a back concussion and needed to be monitored over night. This whole thing could have been way worse, than it was!!! I praise GOD that he is OK today and still able to move and walk. You always think the worse and for him to be knocked out for a good solid minute was enough to throw us over the edge...I also was so GLAD Cory was home, because I would have been a wreck trying to keep this all together. We are home now and he is doing GREAT!! I am sure he will still try and get back up to the top of his monkey bars today!!! THE KID HAS NO FEAR!!!
